One Saturday in July, I visited Yoshimi-cho's popular restaurant ``Nadai Shipokichi Udon'' for the first time in a while. Arrived at 12:40. There is a parking lot for over 15 cars. Due to its proximity to the Arakawa cycling road, there is also a parking lot for bicycles. There are over 30 seats inside the restaurant, but it was full, so we had to sign up on the waiting board at the entrance and wait. I was seated at the counter in about 10 minutes. To the clerk, Me = Meat soup udon, average (1000 yen) Wife = Spicy green onion oil miso udon, small (970 yen) I ordered the Tomai Mushroom Tempura (large) (450 yen), the famous Kinbira Burdock (small) (150 yen), and the sweet potato tempura (small) (150 yen). The amount of udon is Small=400g Medium=600g Medium=800g Large=1000g Special = 1200g Onimori = 2100g Mt. Fuji = 3700g is. The tempura was served in less than 5 minutes. I'll enjoy having this. It was a little cold, but I like crispy tempura, so it was delicious. For reference, Maitaketen was sold out after we ordered it. After that, the udon was served in 10 minutes. Udon noodles fall into the thin category of Musashino udon noodles, but they are long after all. The chewiness is also about the standard for Musashino udon. The meat juice is a sweet and salty soup with large pork belly and stewed onions, which goes well with the udon noodles. Thank you for the meal. I'll visit you again.

The small size is the typical size. The udon noodles are average and not too chewy. So I think it's easy for children to eat.

This time it is located in Yoshimi Town, Saitama Prefecture. Yomokichi Udon is one of the top 100 famous udon restaurants. I want to try strawberries in Yoshimi Town 🍓 ⁡ When we arrived just before 12:00, there were already 10 groups waiting! ! I can see that it is very popular 🙂 However, the turnaround time was fast, so I was called in about 15 minutes. You did it✌️ ⁡ ⁡ ⁡ Not only the taste but also the volume seems to be popular. ⁡ Rumor has it that we recommend the small mushroom soup udon and the average size gravy udon. and ordered a side menu ⁡ The side dishes of maitake tempura, toriten, and kinpira came out immediately after I ordered them. However, it was cold and disappointing. The rotation is very fast, so I guess that's why they made it in advance. ⁡ The essential udon noodles also came out quickly. I had heard about it, but it was bigger than I expected! lol I couldn't eat it even though it was small lol (I brought it home properly) ⁡ The mushroom soup udon with shiitake mushrooms is also delicious. However, the taste is a bit strong, so be careful not to add too much. The udon noodles are also very chewy! ⁡ ⁡ ⁡ I was glad that the food was delicious, and that the staff provided quick and pleasant customer service. I stopped by while cycling. It was very crowded as it was lunchtime on a holiday. I was so hungry that I couldn't think of anything, so I ordered the average size, but a large portion came out and I was like, 🤔. There is a note on the menu about the amount, so all you good kids should read it carefully. ? ? I ordered the limited time limited edition Torishio Udon, and the chicken was well soaked in the broth and was delicious. If you're getting tired of it, add some yuzu to change the taste and make it refreshing and delicious! Maitaketen is so big that even one piece will fill you up, so be careful. By the way, there are bike racks and they seem to rent out tools, so it's recommended for cyclists 🚴

A store I always passed by and was curious about. It was a hot and humid day around 2pm on Saturday, so I wanted to eat cold udon so I visited for the first time. The store is quite spacious and can accommodate about 30 people. It's not crowded, but customers keep changing. I was surprised when I saw the menu! 600g for a standard serving! ! At many udon restaurants, the average serving size is approximately 300g, so double the amount. Ordered cold eggplant soup The water is self-service, so when I went to get it and took a seat, the udon noodles were already there. This is also surprising It came out in less than 5 minutes. The udon is a little thinner than Musashino udon around here, but it still has a lumpy texture. Try eating udon on its own and it's delicious! Well-crafted and strong I can hardly feel the saltiness Tsuyu...this is also pretty good Not too sweet, not too salty, and the dashi is just right There is plenty of rice in a bowl that is slightly larger than a rice bowl. The fried eggplant is chilled and goes well with cold udon noodles. There are a lot of wakame seaweed on top of the udon. Very nice crunchy texture It was a very satisfying udon dish. It was a restaurant that made me want to try other things.

On May 4, 2023, I ate gravy udon (medium) and chicken tempura (small). The dipping sauce smelled like meat. The meat was thin and stewed for a long time, so it had almost no meaty texture. I didn't feel any particular personality about the noodles. The amount of noodles was 600g, which was more than enough for me.
